No, I haven't turned sappy on you. The 20 Reasons to Love are mix cds I made in honor of Elvis Costello and The Moody Blues. I tried to nab songs from all of their albums, which at times wasn't easy.

During the day yesterday, I put together a list of songs for each band. Do you know what? The Costello mix was the one that stayed closest to what I had chosen. Due to time constraints, I had to nix two of my favorite songs; I Want You and Alibi, because of their length. That problem reared it's head again, when I made the Moody Blues 20 Reasons.

Let's just say the Moody Blues aren't good at the "short" song concept. That mix is barely like the list I made up. Talking Out of Turn and I Know You're Out There Somewhere both had to be booted off the mix cd island, much to my chagrin. Both songs are over 6 minutes in length.
