Dreaming Of Greg

whose live is it anyway 024 I had the weirdest dream last night and Greg Proops was in it.  I have to say, it has been a very long time since I gave Mr. Proops much thought. I have no idea where he came from. Apparently, in my frustration at having no life, and not getting to go anywhere, my subconscious remembered that he had been in Pittsburgh at the beginning of the year, and guess who DIDN'T get to go.

Yeah, me.

So my warped little mind conjured him up last night and sent him to a comedy club that was closer to my home (therefore doesn't exist in real life) and had him being all FRIENDLY with me. (Friendly = flirty in my dreams, m'kay?)

So yeah, it was the kind of dream, I wouldn't want to wake up from.

I wish I could see him do stand up again.

Mmmm Dreams

I think I was in dire need of a hug, because the only part of a dream that I had involved me curling up on someone's lap in my kitchen, of all places.

It was such a nice dream that I really didn't want to wake up from it. In fact, I did everything in my power to go back to sleep. Although with the frosty winter weather we've been having lately, who wants to get up when they can be nestled under the covers fast asleep. Add to that having a dream with the guy you've been crushing on for over a year letting you sleep on his lap.

AH.

I want that dream back, and I want it now.

If not, I want the guy in my dream to show up and sit down on the nearest chair so I can sleep on his lap.

Not to much to ask, right?

I didn't think so.

That doesn't matter though, because it's not going to stop me from having them, as well as wishing I didn't have to wake up from them.

Dreaming...

Yesterday morning I started contemplating an ad in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. The ad was for Day Chevy in Monroeville.

~sigh~

Yes, I was having new car fantasies again.

There's no way I can get one for at least a year or so. It's just me and Bernie the Beretta or whatever cheap clunker that would replace her if she would fall apart around me.

However the lease at the Monroeville dealership is so wonderful in some ways and lousy in others. It's a 39 month lease and the payments are only $99 on the Cobalt which is wonder-freaking-ful. The downside is the amount of the down payment, $3000. I'll never have that much hanging around. EVAH!

~big sigh~

Mind you I don't know if I could ever do the whole car payment thing, lease or otherwise. There are certain aspects of my life that I don't trust well enough. But don't we all deserve something shiny and new once in our lives?

In My Wildest Dreams

I had a marvelous dream last night. Mmmmm. You know, one of those naughty dreams that you don't ever want to wake up from.

Mmmmm.

I almost hate having those dreams, because when I wake up it's back to my normal, hum-drum, boring life.

And of course, the dreams are always about someone that isn't really in my life.

(OK, there are no men in my life...at least on a relationship basis, nor do I want one at this point. My life's too fucked up to involve another person in its craziness)

Not that I wouldn't let the visitor of my dreams in.

Devil

Cos...well, you know how I feel about Lodgey!

Funny that was the expression he had in my dream.

(Proof that it was a dream, eh?)
