Take Me Back Tuesday - Week 132

From Music Memoirs

Were you ever a member of any "music clubs"? Which ones? Are you still a member?

I think at one time I was a member of all of them; Columbia House, Play, and BMG. Now that BMG is the only one left, that's the only one I still belong to. I've got some good deals there too.

Columbia House used to offer 12 CDs for a penny. If you could choose 12 CDs what would they be. (Domestic releases only to make it realistic)

Toby Lightman - Bird On A Wire
Toby Lightman - Little Things
Amy Winehouse - Back To Black
Lisa Loeb - The Very Best Of Lisa Loeb
Suzanne Vega - Solitude Standing
Suzanne Vega - 9 Objects of Desire
Madeleine Peyroux - Careless Love
Crowded House - Farewell To The World
Louise Setera - Still Waters
Roxette - A Collection Of Roxette Hits
Tracey Thorn - Out Of The Woods
Warren Zevon: Genius: The Very Best Of Warren Zevon

What would you change about the music clubs?
The shipping costs! Lordy! That's where these blighters make all their money. That's why I tend to order when they have a "Free Shipping" special. They charge per disc, so if you're getting a good deal on a box set, you lose it on shipping. Blergh!
