When Walls Come Tumbling Down, I'll Be Forever Calm

I'm burning the last two mixes from my bloggerversary giveaway. Yay! Doing good, considering my artwork isn't much. My printer is almost out of black ink, and funds for ink are not forthcoming.

I didn't do much otherwise today, besides make the weekly trek to Wal-mart to pay the bill and pick up necessary stuff. You know, like batteries for the walkman, so I can resume taking my walks tomorrow. I cannot walk without music and birds chirping don't count.

I really thought to accomplish more. I think that's how I feel on a daily basis. I used to think that making lists would help. Ha! It makes it worse, because when all is said and done, I see a list with very little checked off.

But wait, I did give two of the animals a bath. Yup, bathed a cat! Be proud! I'm still in one piece and the cat is unharmed. Actually, I think the cat likes the baths. Go figure. The dog on the other hand is not to fond of them. But then again, he's a big wus!

I really need to work on my autumn - Harvest of Song Mix. I also need to finish Otto's Decade of Song -- The 80's. It's burned, but my printer is having issues with the artwork. (as I mentioned earlier.)

I haven't decided if the holiday weekend has anything exciting in store for me, or if it's going to be three days at home, burning CDs. Lord knows, I should burn some for the upcoming trip. I think Mary would kill me if I only brought along the Moody Blues and Elvis Costello.

And now for something totally off the beaten track...Theater Thursday

1) What is your favorite movie about some type of 'animal gone wrong'?
Does Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes count? Again, I know I'm the only one that really enjoyed that film, but I did and Danny Elfman's score was fantastic. I've seen it about 5 times. Oddly, I don't find Marc Walhberg attractive in the least, I went to see it for the Apes!

2) Do you end up feeling sorry for the animal, or just scared to death?
It depends on the movie. It goes boths ways and sometimes I've felt both ways during a film. Ever see that awful movie, Pet Cemetary or is that with an "S?" Damn, Stephen King! Anyway, in that movie I was sorry for all the dead pets...but I was also scared shitless of them. Cos I'm a wus and I'm proud!

3) Do you think there is a movie about a 'killer animal' that went way too far or was just a ridiculous movie?
I just mentioned it in the last question. Pet Cemetary was the worst movie I ever saw in my life. No, I lie, that was Flowers In the Attic! But it was close to it.

BONUS) What kind of killer animal movie would you like to see made? Scary squirrels anyone?

What about a full length cartoon feature of my favorite squirrelly squirrel, Foamy? He's not killer, but he's sure snarky!
