Trip Highlights

Well I've made it home from "My Favorite Place On Earth." No one is dead or maimed, so all is well on that front.

Longwood was beautiful and tomorrow I'll have a photo update. I took over 400 pictures in the past two days. Not bad considering that on Friday and Saturday the weather was not so great. The night pictures of the casinos and the Miss America Parade turned out well. Hell, there's even a picture or two of me in the bunch. Be afraid, be very afraid!

I did a bit of shopping. I got two cute Atlantic City t-shirts a tank top, cos I got one in June and loved it to death (almost) and had to get another, a bunch of post card type things, a book of pictures of Longwood Gardens, yummy taffy and some cookbooks for my mommy.

Everything was beautiful. Today couldn't have been more perfect at Longwood. I got to hear the carillon of bells in the chime tower and saw some lovely artwork at the Brandywine River Museum.

The Hilton Garden Hotel in Kennett Square is simply beautiful. I did some swimming! Woot! The Music Whore put on a bathing suit. (again I mention being afraid) The complimentary breakfast buffet was yummy. I won't go into it, because I'll put on another 5 pounds thinking of all the goodies that we had this morning.

I'm going to work at getting some of the photos up at the photoblog, so check the sidebar of the blog. I'm going to start with some of the Atlantic City shots and then go from there. There's just so many! I hope you enjoy them!

Oh and can I just say this...I had a wonderful time, but I'm really glad to be home. I haven't listened to the Moody Blues since Friday and I'm going through with drawls.
