The Delivery Man Cometh

Yup, today is the release day of the fantabulous new Elvis Costello CD. This girl will be heading down to Best Buy to purchase her copy of the CD as soon as work is finished today.

I've already heard the album, with the exception of the bonus tracks (grumble grumble grumble) and it's awesome. There's only one song that I'm not fond of, which out of 13 is pretty damn good.

The reasons to buy this album...

1. Monkey to Man -- Just a great fun track that will make you bounce and sing.
2. Heart Shaped Bruise -- Sung with Emmylou Harris and a beautiful track that he was doing on tour yonks ago. Glad it was recorded, though the live version is better.
3. The Judgement -- Mmmmm just wonderful.
4. It's nothing like North.
5. No guest appearances by the missus. (Not that I don't like the missus, cos she's grown on me like a bad fungus)

Lastly..this is why you should by the album...



It will make him sad if you don't! Oh and if you like orchestral music..pick up Il Sogno as well. Just because that picture is on the cover.
