The Monster Mambo

Hey, I created it, I can call it anything I want for Halloween. Anyway it's the Music Mambo again. This time it's Halloween style and yes I dipped deep into my weird little imagination for the questions. I don't usually come up with ones that make me look like I've been smoking crack.

1. What are your favorite Halloween songs?
Anything from Rocky Horror is good, This Is Halloween, Halloween by Siouxsie and the Banshees, When The Lights Go Out, Dead Man's Party, Flesh N' Blood, Dead Or Alive all by Oingo Boingo, Grimly Fiendish by the Damned to name but a few.

2. Do you know the words to any of the songs from The Rocky Horror Picture Show? (Which ones?)
All of them..but mostly

THE TIME WARP!!!

It's just a jump to the left...
And then a step to the riiiiii - ght

Ah hell, here are the full lyrics with who sings what etc....

Everybody sing!!!

RiffRaff:
It's astounding;
Time is fleeting;
Madness takes its toll.
But listen closely...

Magenta:
Not for very much longer.

RiffRaff:
I've got to keep control.
I remember doing the time-warp
Drinking those moments when
The Blackness would hit me

RiffRaff:
And the void would be calling...

Transylvanians:
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Narrator:
It's just a jump to the left.

All:
And then a step to the right.

Narrator:
With your hands on your hips.

All:
You bring your knees in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane.
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Magenta:
It's so dreamy, oh fantasy free me.
So you can't see me, no, not at all.
In another dimension, with voyeuristic intention,
Well secluded, I see all.

RiffRaff:
With a bit of a mind flip

Magenta:
You're into the time slip.

RiffRaff:
And nothing can ever be the same.

Magenta:
You're spaced out on sensation.

RiffRaff:
Like you're under sedation.

All:
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Columbia:
Well I was walking down the street just a-having a think
When a snake of a guy gave me an evil wink.
He shook-a me up, he took me by surprise.
He had a pickup truck, and the devil's eyes.
He stared at me and I felt a change.
Time meant nothing, never would again.

All:
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Narrator:
It's just a jump to the left.

All:
And then a step to the right.

Narrator:
With your hands on your hips.

All:
You bring your knees in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane.
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

3. The spooky monsters are coming after you. You know that music will soothe each one long enough for you to escape...but each monster requires different music, what do you play for:

a: Dracula
Do you mean him?

Oye..
I don't want to escape.
So the song I'm going to play is I Want You - Elvis Costello

b: Frankenstein
Oingo Boingo - Same Man I Was Before

c: The Wolf Man
I'm Gonna Buy Me A Dog - The Monkees and if that doesn't work Hey Bulldog - The Beatles

d: The Mummy
The Police - Wrapped Around Your Finger (What else?)

4. You've been cursed and turned into a spooky Halloween creature. What creature are you, and what's your theme song?
I'm Countess Dracula, because the first creature in the last question didn't escape and I'm not complaining.

My theme song? Shakespeare's Sister's Moonchild.

5. Halloween is a time for creepy movies. What creepy movie has the best music, in your opinion?
Sleepy Hollow has the best music IMO. Danny Elfman's film score is so wonderful and you just know that heads are going to role when you hear certain pieces of music being played in the background.
