Just Another Manic Monday

The weekend was crazy and busy and believe it or not, I did accomplish most of the things on that "To Do" list.

~takes bow~

I posted several shots from Pittsburgh and the Flower Show at Phipps at the Photoblog last night. I was very pleased with some of the pictures, particularly the shot I posted here and another similar one that's over at the photoblog.

There was entirely too much family togetherness this weekend, and not that I don't love my family, but oye, when we get everyone in our house it gets very cramped. Combine all that with me being a rather antisocial type and that gives me a rather frustrating weekend. Thank God I went to Pittsburgh on Saturday!

Now it's time for the Music Mambo

This week, tell us your "Preferences."

1. Do you prefer just audio or video/audio of your favorite songs
It really all depends, if it's Nights in White Satin, no, I don't want the video. The video scares me. No not the video..HIS HAIR

In most cases I do like to see my honeys when the song is on, just so I can say Squee a few dozen times. Cos Squee is such a good word.

2. What do you like to listen to in the car (radio, CD, mp3 playlist...etc)?
In the car I have a variety of mix cds that I listen to. I would rather die than be subjected to the garbage that Clear Channel exposes the world to. If I'm in a car without a CD player or tape player the Music Whore opts for silence.

3. Do you lean more towards a LIVE version of songs or the studio release
This depends on what song it is. Elvis Costello's I Want You is 100 times better live as is Spooky Girlfriend. I prefer the live version of The Moody Blues - Steppin In A Slide Zone too. I think it depends on the energy of the performance and the song.

4. What is your ideal concert venue?
Four words - Tropicana Hotel & Casino

5. What's your favorite format (vinyl, cassette, cd, mp3 etc)
Anything but cassette. Right now I lean toward mp3 because I can do more with it. I can listen while I'm on the computer and not have to get up to search for a disc. Yes, the height of laziness, I know. I can make mix cds from them. Oh the fun I can have with mp3.

Bonus:) You can only see one concert this year. Who would it be, and where would the concert be.
It would be the Moody Blues and the show would be at the Tropicana in my favorite city in the world. And if I'm permitted to dream, I'd have front row seats and I'd be and the end of the right side of the center section, giving me a beautiful view of my Lodgey and my Hayward.

~sniffle~

I want my Moody Men back now!!!!!
