"Lonely is the river as it tumbles to the ocean"

Justin Hayward is the man. He is the most beautiful romantic songwriter. Many Thuds go out to him. I have been watching the DVD for the Hall of Fame Concert at the Royal Albert Hall for the last 24 hours..

There's a song on the Sur La Mer CD called "Deep" that has usurped all other songs for creating the infamous THUD. Allow me to share the lyrics with you.

Deep

Every time I hear the sound of the rain
Beating on my roof again
I want to taste your love
And I want to go deep, deep.
I want to go deep, deep.
I want to go deep.
Every time I lift my eyes to the sky
Something in my heart asks why.
I want to know the truth
And I want to go deep, deep.
I want to go deep.

Like the footprints
Disappearing from the sand,
I try to catch the thought.
It slips right through my hand
And, as the darkness
Throws it's cloak upon the ground,
I start to run to you.
I've got to take you down,
I want to go deep, deep.
I want to go deep, deep.
I want to go deep.

Every time I feel I'm losing my way
The power of your love remains.
I want to touch your love
An' I want to go deep, deep.
I want to go deep. deep.
I want to go deep, deep.
I want to go deep.

Yes, he's in his late fifties no I don't care, he's dead sexy and his voice makes me melt. He can sing Deep to me any time he wants...and of course he can be my Knight in White Satin. (pun intended)
