When I was driving home from Washington yesterday, I decided to make a stop to see if the llamas were out. Usually they are right along side the road so you can pull off and see the animals without a problem.
Yesterday the llamas were further down, grazing in a field closer to the covered bridge that you can't get to without walking. Thankfully there was one llama that was close enough to come visit and he was a happy llama too. As soon as he saw us, he ran to the fence. (Hoping we had some llama food for him, no doubt) Instead the poor little llama saw that we had cameras. (A poor substitute for food) That sent him back about his business.
Somehow this guy was the only llama about that hadn't been sheared yet. He must have been roasting too. But he was a happy critter, even though we didn't have any llama food for him.
