Top 5 artists to listen to while you exercise
1. Erasure: This is shiny happy music that keeps my butt moving.
2. Mika: Again shiny happy bouncy music.
3. Cyndi Lauper: Except Time After Time...you just can't get your groove on to that song!
4. Madonna: Not my favorite music to listen to at times, but when working out, Madonna is usually a good choice.
5. Lady Gaga: Not too keen on her, but when running or trying to get moving, she's very effective.
Just an FYI...never listen to Elvis Costello's North while running or just about anything from The Moody Blues' Core 7, beautiful though it is, it won't work for exercise!

That's an interesting idea, because I suspect that workout music is different from the music listened to most other times.
Its also an excuse to listen to some songs that wouldn't normally be on the playlist -
I'll throw in some Black Eyed Peas and Eminem as examples.
I've exercised to "Get Happy!" quite a few times. Just skip over "Motel Matches" and "Riot Act" and you're good to go.
