Top 5 On Friday: Week 222

From Music Memoirs:

Top 5 "Unique" voices

1. Elvis Costello: His is a voice you either love or hate. Its certainly not a pretty voice but it is one that I've always loved for some reason or another.

2. Tom Petty: There are times when this Florida rocker sounds a little too much like Dylan, however if not for songs like Don't Come Around Here No More and Stop Draggin' My Heart Around my childhood would have been so boring.

3. John Hiatt: Another wonderfully odd voice. He did a duet with Costello called Living A Little, Laughing A Little

4. Lucinda Williams: She's definitely a voice that's sometimes hard to take, but after she duetted with Costello on There's A Story In Your Voice. Check out Indoor Fireworks

5. Bob Dylan: I don't always like listening to recent stuff, but try Tangled Up In Blue
