Pain, I Has It

I went to sleep with my hair wet the other day and woke up with a stiff neck. We are on day two of this and it is absolute misery.

It hurts to get into my car, and I can barely turn my head, which makes driving difficult. So needless to say, I'm not going anywhere, except when I went to do laundry this morning.

I'm hoping that by tomorrow I'll be able to function, because there is a lot of stuff that I want to do. Oh and my neck hurts so much that I can't read.

ARGH

I'm in pain and I'm miserable and cranky.

'nuff said.

Now that could be a big problem!

I have bad arthritis in my neck, and I use an old German folk remedy: each morning I eat a heaping teaspoon of golden raisins soaked in gin for at least 10 days. You can laugh, but it really helps control the pain, and I don't have as many awful flare-ups. Plus, it's a nice kick to start the day.
