What's The Score?

I can't remember where I left off on the tally of points between PH and myself in the alls fair in love and war game we've got going on...or in this case, all's fair in some really bad flirting and other things that end up making my face turn red.

As I mentioned PH has been a bit under the weather with the flu. Huggles to PH..cos I hate to see my friends sick. But back to the story at hand. I got it into my head to send him a get well e-card, cos I do goofy things like that.

So I found a cute card starring my favorite characters; Hoops and Yoyo and I sent it on its merry way to PH.

When I woke up I saw that he had viewed the card....cos Hallmark sends emails out to let you know when cards are delivered and viewed. I got an email before work saying thanks etc. I was happy. Brightened PH's day, I hope. Emailed him back as I always do and went about my business. Off to work.

I'm piddling around the office, listening to the morning show, as I do every day, when he starts talking about an email he got from someone saying he's sounded down. Then he mentions this nice e-card he got from Andrea....and I almost fall out of my chair. Not to mention the fact that my boss looked at me kinda funny.

Boy was my face red. So yeah, PH made me blush, cos I sure wasn't expecting that. Not for a minute was I expecting that. Nope, no way...came at me out of nowhere.

So it looks like PH has scored again, while I've got only a handful of points. I think he get's bonus points for making me blush when I wasn't even trying to flirt.

But in retaliation..he finished by saying you guys like me, you really like me.

To which I reply..."Haven't I been hinting at that for the last few months?" Wait..I've been crushing on PH since Oct....crikey...Yeah...PH...we like you....we like you a lot. (And that's just because he's a sweetie pie and such a cute widdle Fish...and not because he's the DJ that keeps me sane)

So, what is the score anyway? How bad am I losing now?

Fish Fodder - Owie Update

Ok, if any of you were concerned about Fishy's injury...well would you believe 4 stitches.

Holy hell.

I still want to know how he managed that? It baffles me. I was opening my Soup In Hand yesterday trying to figure out how he did it. The index finger I can see. The thumb even, but the pinky?

Fishy that takes talent and for that I applaud you!

4 stitches?!

~shakes head~

That's just un-freaking-believable.

~Just remember we pick on those we love the most~

Really...he needs someone to kiss his boo boo and make it better. I volunteer, of course, cos I always champion the underdog..or the underfish.

I just hope his cat doesn't have a hankering for "pickled herring" when he gets home from work or he'll have more than 4 stiches tomorrow morning.

Fish Fodder - Owie!

I'm usually vaguely amused when Fishy tells some story throughout his shift. Today I found myself wincing in pain and tearing up.

It seems my poor "radio sweetheart" was the victim of a renegade cat food can.

Owie!

Anyone that's ever sliced a finger on a can of pet food (cat or dog) knows that really hurts, and if you do a good job of it, much blood is shed. From the information my little Fishy imparted that was the case.

Yikes!

He's threatened his cat with dry food from now on. Poor kitty.

Mind you, this was fodder that I couldn't resist, so I sent him an email. I doubt anyone with a sliced pinky will respond though. I did however refrain from offering to kiss his boo boo and make it better, though as you may have guessed, it was quite difficult not too.

I just hope if his kitty starts getting dry food it won't stage a kitty rebellion. Kitties that are ticked off about their food can be nastier than a finger sliced by a cat food can.

Tuesday Afternoon--Fish Fodder

No wait it's Wednesday, but I was really thinking that Mr. Fishy was trying to be funny this morning when that song filled my office. Then it dawned on me. Duh! It's Wednesday.

My amusement went out the window right there, but it didn't stop me from wanting to ballet dance my way through the song. Don't ask. I always find myself doing some form of dance to that song, even today when I was at work. (It's a good thing I'm alone most of the time. That could be embarrassing)

I also noticed that Fishy played a good number of "bad" artists, if you recall, from the list I posted yesterday.

He played one song that made me think of a word our Fishy seems to like: Stinkbomb.

The song played?

The Rolling Stones - Beast Of Burden

The stinkbomb?

Bette Midler - Beast Of Burden

Mind you, I like Bette Midler and I actually like her version when accompanied by the video, but somehow I can see Fishy saying it was a stinkbomb, kinda like the Bowie and Jagger version of Dancing In The Street.

Hmmm I wonder what other songs he considers stinkbombs, besides that Shaun Cassidy song he played yesterday, and I have to agree with him on that one.

I could give him a few suggestions....Hot Rod Lincoln...Yummy Yummy Yummy!

Fish Fodder aka Fish Revelations

Firstly, Mr. Fishy gets a huge sloppy wet kiss from me for imparting some info on an upcoming concert to Uniontown. I hope there isn't a Mrs. Fishy or a Ms. Fishy that will come kick my butt for that.

Jill needs to mark Oct 6 on the calender, because she needs to come and help me terrorize people in Uniontown.

Today's Fish Fodder is about coffee. Mr. Fishy was imparting a rather amusing story about a man that runs and cafe in Somewhere Other Than Here, USA that is making pastries that contain either coffee or caffeine. Mr. Fishy can correct me on which one is right if he's so disposed, or if you want to know more, email him and tell him Andrea sent you and you want to hear the coffee story. (He'll know of whom you speak, especially if you say you read about it on my blog)

Well it seems Mr. Fishy consumes 2 Pots of coffee a day. Well, woot! Now I know approximately how much coffee it takes to make a Fish perky at 6 a.m. when that Fish has to be awake at the ungodly...nay...the unhuman hour of 3 in the morning.

Well cross one more thing off the 101 Things To Do With Fish list!

Now if this girl would consume that much coffee in one day. I would be bouncing off walls and I'd probably be admited to the hospital for some atrial attack. I need soda. It's less dangerous unless it's all I consume on a day at Cedar Point, but that's another story altogether.

I could just imagine what would happen if those caffeine injected donuts were consumed too. Sugar rush meet caffeine rush. I'd be bouncing off walls, talking faster than the speed of light and my heart would probably explode at some point. I bet a certain Fishy would be swimming really fast in his bowl too.

Now who wants a nice normal caffeine buzz?
