Missing My Dewey

Its been one year since my Dewey crossed the rainbow bridge. I miss this cat every day. She was my little girl and I loved her so much.

I Miss My Dewey

My little orange ball of kitty cat fluff, passed away early yesterday morning.

I don't know that I'll ever get over losing this one.

Dewey was special, from the minute she showed up in our yard. She came with friends, one of which still lives with us. The other, who we called Creaminess, because he was orange and white, was hit by a car, before we could get him socialized enough to try to catch him.

This was 7 years ago.

She moved in 5 years ago.

She was my sweet Badoo.

I loved her with all my heart.

My dad called her Orangey and her fluffy tail was a thing of delight.

She loved spaghetti, corn on the cob, and potatoes. (Any kind really: fries, mashed, tater tots)

I like to think that she knew that she was loved for those years she spent with us.

She was a good kitty. You never had to worry about accidents from her. She would try to steal your food though.

I will love you always Dewey and will miss you forever...my sweet sweet Dewbeedoo

Another Crazy Day

My little fluffy orange cat decided she wanted to spend some time outside today.

Let me first say that all my cats are house cats of the spoiled rotten variety. They don't go outside.

I spent my entire evening from 7 - 9:30 trying to coax her out from under our front porch.

Thank God she likes spaghetti!

No joke, the cat came out to like tomato sauce and ground meat.

I'm hot, sweaty and bitten up by nasty bugs, but my Dewey is back in the house where she belongs.

A day without drama is no day at all, at least not in my life.

All Is Well

Miss Dewey came home today after her spay surgery.

I've never seen a cat walk like it was drunk until today.

Poor baby was bobbing and weaving all over the place in an effort to get comfy

She must have had a later surgery, because she was obviously still feeling the effects of the anesthesia.  Here's hoping she returns to her happy bouncy kitty self in a day or two.

Right now she's sleeping on the couch with mom.

That's so darn cute!

This Has Been The Day From Hell

Today started out mostly ok.

I didn't get to sleep in, but I did get 7 hours of blissful sleep.

However when I got home from the grocery store at 3 o'clock my kitty Dewey escaped.

It took 7 hours to get her back and even that was a struggle.

I had to pull her in through the bedroom window!

No joke!

She was wandering about our front porch roof that she got to climbing the honeysuckle bush.

My stress levels are through the roof.

I love that silly cat.
