Losing My Mind

OK, most of you probably know that I don't have much of a mind to start with, but I am losing what I have left of one now.

I get books from publishers to review and from authors that have tours scheduled for their books.

One book has gone missing, and I swear to god I had it.

I swear it had been on the mantle above my fireplace.

The only place it could have gone from there would be my reading room and it isn't freaking there.

I swear to god that the book has vanished into thin air!

This is the kind of stuff that happens to me all the dang time.

Join me in saying ARGH please.

Anatomy of a Perfect Afternoon

It was farmer's market day today! Yay!

Nothing is better than the market, a cup of cold brew coffee from Little City Coffee and a crazy awesome gyro from The Gyro Man.

Life doesn't get much better than this!

Oh and I'm in love with the Gazebo at Chess Park in Monongahela

Preparing For The Storm

I hope Bill has a nice supply of toilet paper and milk since his area is about to get buried by snow.  I'm not going to be getting as much snow, but it will be enough to make this weekednd a stay home and relax weekend.

I have some movies I can watch too.

I'm actually kind of excited about this, so you want to make a bet the storm tracks south and we don't get as much as they planned for us.

A Day In The Life

Let's discuss my boring life

~ Waited for my mom's pension check, and it didn't show up. Getting my day off to a slow start. At least I got a good book in the mail.

~ Headed off shopping, the only highlights were buying a blu ray player and a 5 cup coffee maker.

~ Didn't get to the grocery store until 3 pm,  meaning I had to make supper while trying to put everything away. In other words my dining room and kitchen exploded.

~ Made an awesome Dog Food Crescent Pie

~ Spent the rest of the night watching The Doctor's Finest on BBC America
