5 years ago today, my grandma passed away.
Yes, she was 101, but that doesn't make it any less painful. In some ways it makes it more so, because she seemed to invincible. If anyone had the key to immortality, it would have been my grandma.

5 years?! I remember it. It just doesn't seem that long ago.
Memories of loved ones persist in our hearts.
I still miss my grandma after 31 years, Andrea. She was 91 and it was still too soon to lose her. She and I had a very close bond and that never goes away. Thinking of both you and your grandmother.
