Davy Jones, gone.
I couldn't believe it when I got the text from my nephew. Then within minutes more texts and messages.
Not my Davy.
The Davy I've loved since I was 5 years old. The Monkee, who sang all my favorite songs. Gone, at age 66.
My heart is broken.
My sympathies go out to his family.
He definitely will be missed.
I really did enjoy the Monkees and their music. It's a sad day.
ReplyDeleteI am so sad as well. I just saw the Monkees perform here in CT on their 45th Anniversary Tour. They were all in really great voice and energetic. RIP Davy.
